"------ The guitar ( Fylde with Headway HE2/G.FEQ ), is keeping me sane and the sound from the pickup is quite extraordinary. The pianistic virtues of the the instrument is enhanced with the pickup. Sometimes I don't know if I am playing a piano or a guitar. It could be all these pills I am taking but I don't think so. A great instrument shows it's inner self to the player who cares to look. Love You All, Big Jim"

Dear John,
I just finished my first tour with a Headway pickup; I just
wanted to tell you that the installation was successful and that
I am very satisfied how it sounds.
It's clear that the Headway pickup works better than my other
stuff, despite the fact that I got sophisticated equipment
(Morris guitar equipped with B-Band electronics, some L.R.Baggs
pickups with D-TAR preamps etc...), so I plan to replace all
electronics on my other guitars with Headway.
It's that timbre of sound; Headway is more balanced than other
pickups and I can finally play with whole range dynamics. That's
very important, specially if you are classically trained
musician, so dynamics is one of key features....
I already gave the Headway logo to a firm where posters for the
next tour will be printed, and I recommended to my German
promoter to put the Headway logo on posters for concerts there.
Regards, Damir Halilic.

"Hello John - Just to say thanks for making my
lovely little 'Peter' guitar sound just as good out there as it
does in here."
- Billy Mitchell (Lindisfarne)
"Just a line to say thanks very much for the pickup. Malcolm Miles did a good job of fitting it, and the sound is excellent, particularly well balanced across all frequencies, rich and warm." Graeme Taylor (ex Albion Band, Griffon, Rolf Harris Band, National Theatre)
"I've had your Headway HE2/G.FEQ system which generate LESS FEED BACK. fitted to my Beardsell Guitar and
the sound was very good"

"I've used my first Headway Pickup solidly - on
stage and in the studio - for 6 yrs in my 1956 Gibson J45, and
it's always sounded fantastic. Now I've upgraded to the
HE1/G2.FEQ for more power than early models, and it sounds even
better.
I've recommended it to my friend John 'Rabbit' Bundrick
of The Who, for his Gibson J200."

"A few years ago I picked up a tenor guitar and was
playing it acoustically. It was practically impossible to mic up
with a result I stopped playing it for a few years. Recently I
acquired a Headway Pickup system and installed it. I can't
believe the difference it has made to my playing. It gives me
exactly the sound quality I need and the ability to control that
sound precisely. Engineers I work with enthuse wildly about it
and I am now playing the tenor guitar at practically every gig
because of the Headway Pickup.
When I meet people who ask me about your system I just wish I
had cards to give out with your details. My other Headway Pickup
is still going great and was one of the first ones you ever
made. It's on my Stefan Sobell octave mandola. Please feel free
to use my name in any way to endorse your product."

"Just wanted to say thank you for a splendid pickup.
I play guitar and cittern in bands called Crucible and Hekety. I
recently commissioned Kai Toenjes to build me a new cittern, to
which he fitted a custom under saddle pickup made by yourselves.
"I have to confess I was a bit sceptical about under saddle
pickups having had the thin piezo sound in the past, but the
amazing natural sound of the Headway blew me away, totally
incredible and I'm very pleased. I've tried it D.I'd
straight to the desk and through my AER amp, and it just sounds
like the instrument either way; I can't imagine anything much
better than that."
- Gavin Davenport ('Crucible' and 'Hekerty').
